Mutton Breast Spices

Ingredients:  The ingredients needed to make “Mutton Breast Spices” masala as follows:


½ kg

Mutton breast (pieces)

1 cup

Yogurt (whipped)

4

Tomatoes (finely cut)

2 sticks

Cinnamon

Green cardamoms

5

Cloves

½ tsp

Cumin seeds (crushed)

1 tsp

Black pepper (crushed)

1 tbsp

Ginger /garlic (chopped)

 To taste

Salt

4 tbsp

Oil

For garnishing

Green chilies, fresh coriander (finely cut)


Green Spices ingredients: 

Raw papaya paste

2 tbsp

Green chilies

Fresh coriander

½ bunch


Method:

  1. Blend green spices ingredients in a blender.
  2. Marinate mutton with it and set aside for 1 hour.
  3. Heat oil in a pot; fry cinnamon, cardamoms, and cloves till they give off an aroma.
  4. Add meat and ginger/garlic; fry until oil separates.
  5. Add all ingredients except for tomatoes and cook until meat is tender.
  6. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes on high flame.
  7. Remove in a dish.

Presentation:

Garnish with green chilies and coriander; serve.
